A rough idea of the load or a few photographs, together with your access details, helps us recommend the right team and estimate the time. Your final bill is based on the time used, subject to the two-hour minimum and any charges agreed before booking.

For local student moves in Leicester and Loughborough, billing starts when we arrive at your collection address and finishes when unloading is complete at your final destination. 

This includes loading, travel between addresses and unloading.

The two-hour minimum applies to the total moving time. After that, we bill in five-minute increments. Waiting for keys, access or belongings to be packed counts towards the moving time.

One man and a van suits belongings that one mover can safely handle. If an item requires two people, any customer assistance must be discussed and agreed before booking.
A two-man team is recommended for heavy or bulky furniture, difficult access, or when you want us to handle all the lifting. Send photographs and details of stairs, lifts and parking so we can recommend the right team for your student move.

Yes. Local student moves can include collections from different addresses or a stop at a storage unit. There is no separate per-trip charge for additional local van loads; the hourly rate continues until the final unload.

Tell us about every stop before booking so we can plan the route and estimate the time. Long-distance student removals follow the route, load and loading and unloading allowances agreed in your quote. Additional stops or loads must be quoted separately.

There is no call-out charge for student moves within Leicester. For collections further afield, including Loughborough, a small call-out charge is agreed before booking.

Any applicable parking costs or road tolls are also confirmed in advance. Long-distance moves have their own agreed quote, including travel and the stated loading and unloading allowances.

A £50 deposit paid by bank transfer secures your agreed arrival window. The deposit is deducted from your final bill, with the balance payable on completion.
