A £50 deposit by bank transfer is required to secure your slot. This is deducted from your final bill when the job goes ahead — it is not an extra charge. 

The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability, and the new booking must be within 7 days of the original date. 

If we cancel for any reason, you receive a full refund immediately. Final payment is taken only after the job is complete. We accept cash, bank transfer (preferred), card, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. No card surcharges.

Yes — we dismantle and reassemble beds, wardrobes, dining tables, and flat-pack furniture as needed. All tools are included and the work is carried out under the standard hourly rate — there is no separate fee on top. 

Bear in mind that dismantling and reassembly takes time and the clock continues running while we work, so it will add to the overall job duration. Older flat-pack furniture can sometimes be fragile during reassembly, so while we take every care, we cannot accept full liability if older pieces have issues during the rebuild.

Every job includes furniture blankets to protect your belongings in transit, heavy-duty straps and bungee cords to secure the load, a folding sack truck for boxes and appliances, a heavy-duty piano dolly rated to 900kg, shoulder dolly lifting straps for stairs and awkward items, and basic assembly tools. 

All equipment is included in the hourly rate at no extra charge.

The clock starts when we arrive at your pickup address and stops when the last item is placed at your destination. 

After the minimum charge, time is billed in 5-minute increments so you only pay for time actually used. Multiple trips and stops are included — there is no per-trip fee. 

Most customers save money by having boxes packed and furniture ready before we arrive.

The minimum charge is 2 hours for all jobs in the Loughborough area — this applies to both house moves and single item collections. 

After the minimum, time is billed in 5-minute increments — so if your job runs to 2 hours and 20 minutes, you pay for 2 hours and 20 minutes, not a full extra hour.
