Our Loughborough-area rates are £59 per hour for one man with a van or £89 per hour for our two-man removals team, plus a one-off £30 call-out charge. All prices include VAT.

A two-hour minimum booking applies. Including the call-out charge, the minimum total is £148 for one man and a van or £208 for our two-man removals team. After two hours, we bill in five-minute increments.

Time starts when we arrive at your collection address and stops when the last item is in place at your delivery address and any agreed furniture reassembly is complete. This includes loading, travel between properties, unloading and any agreed dismantling or reassembly.

Multiple local trips carry no separate charge. The normal hourly rate continues throughout the move, and the £30 call-out is charged only once per booking.

Our one man with a van service suits lighter moves and smaller collections. Where items need two people to carry, a fit, capable helper must be available at both properties, with suitability agreed before booking.

Our two-man removals team is recommended for house moves, heavy furniture and customers who want us to handle all the lifting.

We use a medium-wheelbase Vauxhall Movano for man and van services and house removals in Loughborough. Rear and side loading doors give us flexibility where access is restricted.

Its manageable size helps us park closer to your property where access allows. Shorter carrying distances reduce loading and unloading time, helping keep your overall bill down.

Our equipment includes a Magliner sack truck with stair sliders, an Evo Super piano skate for suitable heavy items, and tools for dismantling and reassembling furniture.

Inside the van, super-soft, wipe-clean blankets and foam edge protection help protect furniture against rubbing and scuffs. LoadLok securing tracks, cam straps and bungees help keep belongings secure during transport.

Larger local house moves can be completed over multiple van loads, with no separate charge for additional trips. The normal hourly rate continues throughout.

Slick Removals handles well-prepared three- and four-bedroom house moves in Loughborough, using our two-man removals team and multiple local van loads where needed.

Suitability depends on how much you have to move, access and the distance between properties. Several short trips can work well for a local move, while a longer journey makes the number of loads more important.
