We are well suited to moves up to 4-bedroom houses, provided the groundwork has been done — boxes packed, smaller items ready, and large furniture dismantled beforehand. If you dismantle beds and wardrobes before we arrive it speeds up the move and keeps your hourly bill down.
If you need us to handle it, just let us know when booking and we will factor it in.
If you book our 1-man service, we will need at least one fit helper at both ends to assist with the heavier items (sofas, beds, appliances). This can be you, a friend, or a neighbour. If you have multiple helpers available, the 1-man service can comfortably handle larger moves, speeding the job up significantly.
If no helper is available, or you prefer a completely hands-off move, our 2-man team handles everything.
For larger moves — 3 or 4-bedroom houses with multiple wardrobes — we will plan realistically with you upfront.
This may mean returning on a second day purely for reassembly, keeping your moving day fast and efficient rather than stretched.

Bear in mind that dismantling and reassembly takes time and the clock continues running while we work, so it will add to the overall job duration. Older flat-pack furniture can sometimes be fragile during reassembly, so while we take every care, we cannot accept full liability if older pieces have issues during the rebuild.

Every job includes furniture blankets to protect your belongings in transit, heavy-duty straps and bungee cords to secure the load, a folding sack truck for boxes and appliances, a heavy-duty piano dolly rated to 900kg, shoulder dolly lifting straps for stairs and awkward items, and basic assembly tools.
All equipment is included in the hourly rate at no extra charge.
