Man and Van Prices in Leicester
One man with a van cost
Our one-man and van service costs £59 per hour including VAT, with a two-hour minimum charge of £118 for hourly moving bookings.
For single-item collections and deliveries, contact us for a fixed quote. Send the collection and delivery postcodes, photographs of the item, and details of stairs and parking.
Two Men and a Van cost
Our two-man removals service costs £89 per hour including VAT, with a two-hour minimum charge of £178.
This option is recommended for most house and flat moves, heavy furniture and jobs where you want our team to handle the lifting.
Travel and Call-Out Charges
There is no call-out charge for local hourly moves within Leicester and nearby areas.
For locations further across Leicestershire, a travel charge may apply depending on distance. Any additional charge is confirmed before you book.
Booking and Deposit
Send us your moving date, collection and delivery postcodes, item list and access details to check availability.
Once confirmed, a £50 deposit by bank transfer secures your booking and is deducted from your final bill. The remaining balance is payable on completion.
How billing works
After the two-hour minimum, hourly bookings are charged in five-minute increments.
Your moving time starts when we arrive at the collection address and finishes when the last item is placed at your destination.
Loading, travel between addresses and unloading count towards that time, including return journeys where a local move requires more than one load.

Van and Equipment Designed to Save Time
Our van and moving equipment are chosen to make loading, carrying and unloading more efficient, helping to keep your hourly moving costs down.
Our medium-wheelbase Vauxhall Movano L2H2 can park closer where access allows, reducing carrying distances. Rear and side-loading doors give us different loading options, while the full-width Tow-Trust ProStep and separate MGI Giant step stool provide convenient rear access for moving boxes and furniture in and out.
Our Magliner sack truck with stair sliders, Evo Super piano skate and Shoulder Dolly lifting straps help us manoeuvre heavy and awkward items efficiently.
We also carry a Makita cordless impact driver to speed up agreed furniture dismantling and reassembly.
Inside the van, LoadLok rails and securing straps, furniture pads, foam edge protectors and moving bands help us position, protect and secure your belongings efficiently.
We also carry a reusable mattress cover, while entrance mats and doorstops help keep access routes clean and clear.
All moving equipment is included in your hourly rate.

Such a kind and helpful team ❤️ squeezed me in for a last-minute move and took great care of my furniture.

I contacted Slick Removals man and van to help me move house.
They were available at short notice, arrived on time and were happy to to move some belongings to my parents house and do a tip run for me while waiting for house sale to complete so they weren't waiting around.
They were polite and professional at all times and absolutely nothing was damaged or broken during the move.
Their prices were very reasonable and they were upfront and honest with costs when taking items to the tip sending an invoice as proof immediately.
I can highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them again however I don't plan on moving house anytime soon!!
