How our pricing works
* All-Inclusive Rates: To keep things simple, the hourly rate is fully inclusive of VAT and all our travel expenses. No separate call-out fees or fuel surcharges.
* No Hidden Fees: There are no extra charges. The only exception is for any road tolls or customer-approved parking charges, which will be added to the final bill if applicable.
* When the Clock Starts: Billing begins only when our team arrives at your collection address.
* When the Clock Stops: Billing ends as soon as the final item is placed in its desired position at your destination.
* Fair Billing Policy: After the minimum charge period, any further time is billed to the nearest 5 minutes, so you only pay for the time you need.
Choosing the Right Service
To help you select the best option for your needs, here’s a brief guide:
* One-Man Service: This is a cost-effective option where you or another able-bodied person will be available to help our driver with the lifting of any heavy or bulky items. It's ideal for single-item collections or small moves where you are happy to be the "second pair of hands."
* Liability Note for a one man service: By selecting this service, you acknowledge that you or your designated helper are fit to assist and accept the responsibility for your part in the move. Slick Removals cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained by persons assisting our driver, nor for any damages that may occur to items or property during a shared lift.
* Two-Man Service: This is our complete, hassle-free service. Our two-person team will handle all the lifting, loading, and unloading for you. This service is recommended for full house/flat moves or for anyone who is unable to assist with heavy lifting.
