Our hourly rates are £69/hr for a 1-man service and £89/hr for a 2-man team, VAT included.

 There are no extra charges for stairs, multiple stops, or equipment. A 2-hour minimum applies to all bookings in this area. 

After the minimum, time is billed in 5-minute increments so you only ever pay for the time actually used.

For house and flat moves using our 2-man team, typical time ranges are:

1-bed flat: 2–3 hours (£178–£267)
2-bed house: 3–4 hours (£267–£356)
3-bed house: 4–6 hours (£356–£534)
4-bed house: 6–8 hours (£534–£712)

These are estimates — the final bill is based on actual time worked. The clock starts when we arrive at your pickup address and stops when the last item is in place at your destination. 

We do not charge for travelling to you before the job or returning afterwards.

Both options include a fully equipped Vauxhall Movano medium-wheelbase van — ideal for the residential streets, driveways and parking restrictions common across Kirby Muxloe, Glenfield and Leicester Forest East, allowing us to park close to your property and keep carry distances short.

To help us confirm suitability, please provide your collection and delivery postcodes, a brief list of what needs moving, access details such as stairs or parking restrictions, and whether you need a 1-man or 2-man service.

To secure your slot a £50 deposit is required by bank transfer, which is fully deducted from your final bill when the job goes ahead. 

The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, as we turn away other work to hold your date. You can reschedule once with at least 48 hours' notice, and the new date must be within 7 days of the original booking. 

If we ever need to cancel for any reason, you receive a full refund immediately.

Final payment is due on completion. Bank transfer is preferred, but we also accept cash and card — no card surcharges.

Yes — and often significantly so, especially if you prepare well before moving day. With hourly pricing you benefit directly from your own efficiency. If boxes are packed, furniture is ready to go, and access is clear at both ends, the job moves faster and your bill is lower. A fixed quote charges the same whether your move takes three hours or six.

The single biggest factor in how long your move takes is how prepared you are.

• Box everything up before we arrive. Boxes should be sealed and labelled.

• ​Empty all furniture drawers. Full drawers add weight and risk items shifting.

• ​Defrost and empty fridges and freezers.

• Stage items to the ground floor where possible.

• Keep children and pets clear of the move.

Yes — dismantling and reassembling standard beds, wardrobes, and flat-pack furniture is included in the hourly rate. 

We bring the tools needed. If you'd prefer us to handle it, just let us know when booking. 

We can also disconnect and reconnect washing machines with standard fittings as part of the move, provided they are not seized or hardwired.

If you are waiting for keys at your new property, the clock continues running at the same hourly rate because we have reserved that time exclusively for you. 

We will make the best use of any waiting time — loading what can be loaded, and bringing remaining items as close to the door as possible.

Yes. If you are decluttering before moving day, we can collect and dispose of unwanted furniture and bulky items. 

We are a registered Environment Agency waste carrier (licence number CBDU401549), so all disposal is handled legally. 

Where furniture is in good condition, we will always attempt donation to local charities before disposal.
