Our rates are £69/hr for a 1-man service and £89/hr for a 2-man team, VAT included. There are no extra charges for stairs, multiple stops, or equipment.

​Because Broughton Astley, Cosby, and Stoney Stanton are outlying areas from our South Wigston base, a standard 2-hour minimum applies. 

After the minimum, time is billed in 5-minute increments so you only ever pay for the time actually used.

​For house and village moves using our 2-man team, typical time ranges are:

• ​3-bed house: 4–6 hours (£356–£534)

Both options include a fully equipped Vauxhall Movano medium-wheelbase van — ideal for navigating narrow village roads and restricted driveways, allowing us to get right up close to your property and cut down on carry time.

To confirm suitability, please provide your collection and delivery postcodes, a brief inventory, access details (like parking restrictions), and whether you need a 1-man or 2-man service.

​To secure your slot, a £50 deposit is required by bank transfer. This amount is fully deducted from your final bill when the job goes ahead. 

Final payment is due upon completion and before the driver leaves.

If boxes are packed, furniture is ready to go, and your driveway is clear, the job moves faster and your bill is lower. A fixed quote charges you for a "worst-case scenario" day.

The single biggest factor in how long your move takes is how prepared you are.

• Box everything up before we arrive. Boxes should be sealed and labelled.

• ​Empty all furniture drawers. Full drawers add weight and risk items shifting.

• ​Defrost and empty fridges and freezers.

• Stage items to the ground floor where possible.

• Keep children and pets clear of the move.

Yes — dismantling and reassembling standard beds, wardrobes, and flat-pack furniture is included in the hourly rate. 

We bring the tools needed. If you'd prefer us to handle it, just let us know when booking. 

We can also disconnect and reconnect washing machines with standard fittings as part of the move, provided they are not seized or hardwired.

If you are waiting for keys at your new property, the clock continues running at the same hourly rate because we have reserved that time exclusively for you. 

We will make the best use of any waiting time — loading what can be loaded, and bringing remaining items as close to the door as possible.
